I am looking to find a sunday market in ireland. I would prefer that it was somewhere around the midlands and surrounding areas

- There is one on in Clara, Co. Offaly usually on Sundays. It's full of knackers and junk >>> http://www.irelandlogue.com/about-ireland/clara-market-in-jeopardy.html
- The Clara Market... I must warn you though, it is a kip!
- there is one in Killaloe on a sunday in co clare. dont think its very big though..... depends what kinda stuff u wanna get there.
- There was one in Kilkee, Co.Clare when I went there about four years ago. It might still be there, it was good enough, you could find anything in it.
- there is a very good 1 near kilkenny town or if you like to travel fairyhouse racecourse
- The one near Kilkenny is in a place called Cuffsgrange, take the Clonmel road out of Kilkenny and watch out for the signs, not too far out (5/10 miles?). Lots of "Made in China" stalls, some market clothes, but also some furniture and bric-a-brac/antiques. Some Sundays are better than others, but there's a big indoors hall, which is great for showery Sundays. There's a little restaurant on the spot where you can get a homely Sunday dinner, and a huge car park so parking not an issue. Otherwise for a lovely country feel, there's a small but friendly Car Boot sale in Fethard, South Tipp (outside Clonmel), every Sunday. That's more Bric-a-Brac, and antiques, none of the "Made in China" stalls :) Great play area for the kids, and you never know what you'd come across there.
